A sharply-formed, partially translucent, Baveno-twinned crystal of Orthoclase (KAlSi3O8) from a very unusual locality. The twin line shows as a diagonal across the crystal’s top. It was acquired from Dmitriy Belakovskiy, a curator at the Fersman Mineralogical Museum in Moscow, during the 2011 Tucson show. “Udacha” means “good luck”.
